How it works
Through sessions we will identify what goal/issue you want to work towards and go through a process of identifying the steps you need to get there, the barriers that you need to overcome and the resources you have available to you (for example; internally, your capabilities, and externally, your networks) that can help you to get to where you want to go.

Some examples of past client work include; understanding identity, alignment of purpose and values, future visions of life, juggling roles in life, impostor syndrome, career planning, work relationships and conflicts., burnout and work-life balance, and time management.

At times coaching sessions will be arranged differently to counselling, for example, session can be 90 minutes, and take place monthly.

Therapeutic Coaching - an Integrated approach
I am Dual Qualified, trained as a coach as well as a counsellor. This enables me to work with clients who want to work towards specific goals and make changes in their lives (the heart of coaching work and solution focused therapy), while offering a therapeutic space where people can explore in more depth their past and present and what might be in the way of the change/adjustments they want to make.

We can discuss in the initial consultation whether and how coaching and counselling might weave together to support you.
"Sally Hartley's aproach to coaching created a safe environment for exploration of my personal and professional goals. The coaching experience for me was life changing with practical tools to help me on this coaching jounrey. Her empathetic and kind approach in handling sensitve themes was what I appreciated most. I would highly recommend her coaching services to anyone that is looking to tap into their best self."

"My coaching sessions with Sally have been invaluable, I began with an open mind and didn't really have huge expectations for life changing results. But, honestly I feel like Sally came into my life at a time when I needed her most. I looked forward to every session, it's not everyday we get a chance to talk about ourselves and really delve into the way we are living our lives. These sessions gave me that opportunity and I don't think I realised how manic I was living each day, until Sally gave me the chance to think differently. This resulted in me looking at myself as a person both professionally and personally and I have changed not only how much I am trying to achieve each day, which was ridiculous. But also changing how I structure my day and most importantly giving myself time for me more frequently in order to be the best person I can be."
