Individual Therapy

IMG-1013.jpg

I offer a free 30 minute consultation to hear what brings you to therapy and whether the way I work fits with your needs.

Counselling sessions are 50 minutes long and generally take place weekly.  I can offer face to face sessions in Woburn Sands where there is free car parking nearby (based on Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire border and 30 minutes drive from Aylesbury, Buckingham, Leighton Buzzard and Flitwick).  Or sessions can take place online on zoom - with clients then based anywhere in UK.  Or a combination of the two - depending on what works for you.

Sessions cost £50 and are payable in advance of sessions.

The number of sessions depends on your needs but I am comfortable to work with you in the long term or short term.  Also alter the frequency of sessions if needed.  To support this process I include regular reviews of the counselling to 'check in' on how clients are finding the therapy and then make any changes needed and set aims for the work going forward.

“This being human is a guest house. Every morning is a new arrival. A joy, a depression, a meanness, some momentary awareness comes as an unexpected visitor...Welcome and entertain them all. Treat each guest honourably. The dark thought, the shame, the malice, meet them at the door laughing, and invite them in. Be grateful for whoever comes, because each has been sent as a guide from beyond.”

Supporting students aged 16+ in schools, colleges and Universities

I can offer contracts to schools and universities to support students as part of a schools' or universities' counselling provision.  I have experience of providing sessions to students in a University environment and a sixth form college.  This is both face to face and online and which take place weekly.  This includes but is not limited to support for depression, trauma, bereavement, identity, anxiety, attachment, childhood trauma., neurodiversity, sexuality and gender.  This is both in short term and long term therapy.
